Shark Attack for Discovery

A giant white shark first swims then attacks you if you download the Shark Week App we’ve prepared for Discovery Channel, Romania. The free application, available for Android and iOS was developed as part of the communication of the Shark Week show, running on the channel late August this year.

Since its an Augmented Reality experience the shark appears on the live camera picture of the device, when you hold it on the necessary print (so called marker) – you can see it and print it from the bottom of the post.

At the beginning it swims around above the marker – then, after clicking on it – it freezes on the screen, so you can make a picture with it and it looks like you have a shark in your bathtub – and when you click on it again, it enters the screen from the side, and actually bite your heads or arms off – if you are not cautious enough . Of course just virtually.
The images, which you shoot at any point with the app, can be directly shared on your facebook acount or be saved on your device.

The modell, the animation the programming and all graphical elements of the app was made by Arworks.
